Fundraising is the essential component of the Run to Home Base Presented by New Balance. It helps us in our mission to provide care for veterans and their families. Fundraising is hard work, but it can be fun. Click here to download our helpful fundraising kit to get you started with your efforts. The information contained in our fundraising kit is a basic and brief summary of some of the activities needed to have a successful fundraising campaign.
Click Here to download a fundraising flyer you can use to solicit donations. This flyer helps inform your donor of the event and how their donations help to make a difference in the lives of veterans and their families.
Help promote the Run by reaching out to your local media and sharing your story about why you are participating in the Run to Home Base. You can find a sample press release HERE. Simply update the press release with your information and send it to your local paper.
Minimum Fundraising Requirements must be meet before July 15, 2014 at 11:59pm EST
Run to Home Base (9k) - Adults
Walk to Home Base (3K) - Adults
Walk to Home Base (3K) - Child
Due to safety reasons, we regret that under no circumstances will children under 14 be allowed to enter the Run portion of the event. Those 14 years old and over may participate in either the Run or Walk with the requirement that each participant 14 years and older meet the minimum $1,000 or $250 fundraising/payment before 11:59pm ET on July 15, 2014. IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE MAY 15TH, THE MINIMUM FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENT IS REDUCED TO $750 FOR RUNNERS.
