How to Fundraise to Reach Home Base

Once you are signed up as a fundraiser, login to your fundraising account to invite your friends and family to join the cause.

 

Fundraising is the essential component of the Run to Home Base Presented by New Balance.  It helps us in our mission to provide care for veterans and their families.  Fundraising is hard work, but it can be fun.  Click here to download our helpful fundraising kit to get you started with your efforts.  The information contained in our fundraising kit is a basic and brief summary of some of the activities needed to have a successful fundraising campaign.

Help promote the Run by reaching out to your local media and sharing your story about why you are participating in the Run to Home Base. You can find a sample press release HERESimply update the press release with your information and send it to your local paper. 

 

Fundraising Requirements 

 

Minimum Fundraising Requirements must be met before July 20, 2015 at 5:00pm EST

Run to Home Base (9k) - Adults

  • Age Range 14 and over
  • Early Bird Fundraising Requirement (Registered before April 21, 2015) - $750
  • General Fundraising Requirement - $1,000

 

Walk to Home Base (3K) - Adults

  • Age Range  14 and over
  • General Fundraising Requirement - $250

 

Walk to Home Base (3K) - Child

  • Age Range  6 - 14
  • General Fundraising Requirement - $125
  • Be accompanied by an adult who commits to the minimum fundraising requirements.
  • Have parent or guardians written permission on the required waiver

 

Due to safety reasons, we regret that under no circumstances will children under 14 be allowed to enter the Run portion of the event. Those 14 years old and over may participate in either the Run or Walk with the requirement that each participant 14 years and older meet the minimum $1,000 or $250 fundraising/payment before 5:00pm ET on July 20, 2015. IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE APRIL 21ST,  THE MINIMUM FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENT IS REDUCED TO $750 FOR RUNNERS.
